I know all about those black things. It is cat acne. Too much oil.

Mum would wash my chin with hydrogen peroxide.

To avoid getting too much oil she switched to ceramic bowls that when washed in the dishwasher would be cleaned. I originally had plastic dishes and you can't get the excess oils out of plastic.

Hope this helps.

It's too bad your momma's new crown didn't have any bling to it. She must've been disappointed as well.

Have a good visit with your kitty cousins. Make sure you get plenty of turkey bird.

Yup. Kitty acne. It's actually a bacteria and it will spread if you mess with it too much. Ceramic bowls is good. No plastic like Derby & The Meezers said. And, if it starts spreading, you can buy Fort Dodge Nolvasan Skin and Wound Cleanser on the Internet and scrub the chin with that, then rinse thoroughly. It will take several days, but it clears up nicely.
