To my girls:
You know that I love both of you laying down with me while I nap, but there have got to be some rules!!!
#1- No intense bath-taking. This includes smacking and shaking the entire queen-sized bed.
#2- No fighting for position. It is a big bed (see above) and only the three of us are in it.
#3- No stretching out as long as possible across the bed. This only leaves me with about 2-3 inches to lay in. And that's not very conducive to sleeping well.
These rules are especially important when I have to go to work that night (like tonight). I don't get to sleep while I'm at work. But these rules should also apply during regular night-time sleeping hours.
Thanks,
Love, Momma

The Meezers's mum seems to be having the same problems getting them to learn the bedtime rules. My dad has also been complaining about being woken by me licking his head obsessively until I get my breakfast.
How come your mom doesn't understand that the bed belongs to you and you allow *her* to sleep in it occasionally? Humans! Sometimes they are absolutely untrainable!
If a purrson cannot sleep on 3 inches of the bed, then that purrson needs to get a bigger bed. And purrsons need to understand that covers are like a big playground to us, so we are going to 'vestigate what's under there.
You should count yourselves lucky. I can't tell you how many times I've been "accidentally" kicked off the bed while my beans ae asleep. Actually, I can. It was 34.5 times.
Our Mom rarely allows us 3 to be on the bed at night 'cause she says she gets no sleep at all. We sleep just fine, thanks!
Yes, I love to do some night time bathing while mum tries to fall asleep. Once she is gone, it takes some pretty good noise to wake her up.
I always lay sideways in the big nap place. I also bathe and then come up to the top of the covers and make biscuits into them, purring wildly, sometimes meowing a bit....however, we dont fight, I have my side, Patches has hers.....tell your mom this, she simply doesnt understand.

If your Momma wants more space on the bed... then sleep on her, I say! Beans must learn to play by our rules, NOT the other way round.

Boo says she likes to make bisquits on top of Momma and find just the right place to play fall down and go boom in the blankie. She says that is what Momma's are for.
It seems to drive our Mom crazy when we starts our baths specially Angie coz she has so much furs.
