Broken Spring Update

Well....Momma, Daddy, and Uncle Dan gotted to Texas alright. Theys all just relaxing and hanging owt wif fambly. Apparently Momma wuz furry dirty, since she hadded TWO showers ofur the weekend. Wait... what's that Emmy? OHHHHHH....wedding showers, not rainroom showers. I get it now! Heehee. She and Daddy gotted all kinds of stuff!! We'll try to get sum pic-shurs up later. Momma goes today to get her fancy bridal pic-shurs done. She gets to go get her hair done, makeup, tiara, and wear her fancy dress!

WHOOHOO!!! It's owr FERST Blogiversary!!! Whoda thunk it...when we ferst started owt that we'd still be here a year later?? And wif such amazing furiends! Y'all are awesomw! We's sorry that we haven't been as active recently...it's been furry crazy around owr howse.

But...efurrycat is welcome to come ofur this weekend. Momma and Daddy (wif Uncle Dan) have gone to Texas fur a week, so we gots the howse to owrselves!!! That means it's time fur a par-tay!!! Feel free to come and go...we don't fink that we will be able to host a grate (live) party like ofur haf since Momma won't be near a 'puter fur 57 hours. But we'd love to have y'all ofur anyways!

Party Time!!!

Hi y'all!!!

We just realized that owr ferst blogiversary is this Friday!!!! We am all the way 'acited. Momma and Daddy (& Uncle Dan) are going to Texas fur a whole week 'cuz Spring broke again! So....we's finkin' 'bout havin' a party ofur here! Momma won't know, and as long as we're quite, neither will the neighbors! Heehee!!! Miss Jessica is takin' care of us while they are gone. We like her. But anycat can feel free to drop in at any time during the next week.

In ofur news....Momma gotted CLAWS putted on her fingers!!! What's that Momma??? Oh...they is 'fake nails' fur when she gets her bridal portraits taken next week. OK. All we know is that they feel GRATE when she scratches us wif them.

Sorry that we've been so quiet. Time shur flies sometimes. Momma has just been furry busy wif all kinds of fings and hasn't really had time to help us blog. We DO get to keep up wif efurryone though. We realized that we didn't post for Grampy or Uncle Dan's purfdays!!! bad kitties! "Uncle Kenny" is continuing to improve and Uncle Dan hadded his wisdom teef taken owt....guess they figure that if he gotted in to Air Force Academy that he's smart enough! Heehee!

So, Momma's been busy wif werk(LATE hours), wedding stuff, and starting her own business! Yup...y'all readed that right! She's a Mary Kay consulant now and there's pink stuff efurrywhere! So....if y'all know of anybean who wants/needs/haf to have sum make-up, feel free to contact us!

"Uncle" Kenny Update!

Momma just gotted off the phone thingy wif Uncle Dan. Kenny is HOME!!! Well home wif his parents in Indonesia, not here home. But still he's not in the hospital anymore!!!! He's feelin' somewhat better, but not 100% yet. And he needs to take it easy for a month or so. The bean V-E-T gived him some medisins to help prevent him frum gettin' it again.....'cuase that would be REALLY bad then.

Fank y'all fur all of yur prayers! Uncle Dan wuz touched and amazed that we hadded a squillion poodins and beans prayin' fur his brofur. God is Good!!!

URGENT Prayers needed!!!

Help efurryone!!!! Uncle Dan's younger brofur has been dig-nosed wif Dengi fever(sp?)! We's not egzactly shur what it is...but we finks it's knida like malaria. It's transmitted by 'squitos. Kenny (brofur) lives in Indonesia wif his parents, where they are missionaries. He's in the V-E-T gettin' IV medisins. We's furry worried 'bout him.

Also, we need prayers fur Miss Kerri (the one who takes care of us sumtimes). She hadded to help her ofur kitty Max ofur to the bridge last week. Max hadded liver failure, intestinal blockage, and would get FURRY UPSET at the V-E-T. They hadded to put him in an oxigen room to help calm him down. That didn't help much. Miss Kerri just losted Sam ofur the summer. She am furry sad still. If anycat has a copy (or knows where to find one) of the Rainbow Bridge story, could y'all email it to us? Momma wants to give her a copy.

Yea!! Daddy only has 100 days lefted until he graduates from the Air Force Academy!!!! We am al the way proud of him. We also just founded owt that we will be going to Oklahoma City fur about a year until we move (again) to South Texas where will learn to fly the really fast, big metal birdies. Today is Kiara's 5th purfday! Momma *almost* forgoted it, efun though she maded up the date since we don't know the "real" one fur sure. Silly Momma!

Prayers Needed

Hi efurrycat! We need to ask ya'lls help in praying fur owr kitty cousin Wendell. He's lost weight recently and no one knows why. All tests are OK, no diabetes or thyroid issues. He's acting OK, but not eating cat food. He'll beg fur bean food and is drinking TONS of water. His V-E-T is "stumped". SO, any prayers and good thoughts that y'all can send his way would be grate! Fanks!!

On a different note.....we all hadded a wonderful time at Beau and Anige's party on Friday night. Owr dates were furry handsome and the perfect gentlecats. Emmy's boyfriend cat, Victor Tabbycat, s-corted us to their howse so we wouldn't get lost on the way. Fanks again!

Well, Momma wuz supposed to be flying to Texas today......but all the big metal birds gotted grounded a'cause of snow in Ft. Worth!! So now she gots to get up efun earlier than she gets up to go to werk to go back to the airport to see if the big birds can fly tomorrow. At least she can come home to us and not haf to stay in the airport.

Momma here- We had a minor miracle here this morning. I woke up in the middle of the night with all three girls on the bed, on the same side, and within a foot of each other. Kiara's tail was actually TOUCHING Meeko! And, there was NO fighting!! I almost fell out of the bed seeing this. I would have taken a picture, but the camera was already packed and I was afraid to disturb the peace. Hope everyone has a great weekend, and that I can get home to Ft. Worth!

Bof Momma and Grammie wanted to say fanks fur all the kind purfday wishes!! We want to fank efurrycat that camed by to bisit while Momma and Daddy wuz gone! We hadded lots of fun...and thay didn't efun know about it! Although, somecat hadded too many niptini's and lefted a "pressie" on the upstairs landing. We're not naming any names to protect the innocent.

It's snowing here....again. We're only s'posed to goet 2-5" this time. We still gots about a foot owt back and a couple of inches owt front. Daddy sez that maybe more beer will grow in the garden?? We's not too shur 'bout that one.

Heat wave!!

We're havin' a heat wave...a tropical heat wave! Axshully...not really. But it did get up to 38 degrees today. Momma efen hadded the sunroof on the metal monster open!! And she wuz running her errants wifowt her jacket on! (Don't tell Grammie that!) Momma sed that it wasn't too bad owt...the sun wuz shinning, no wind, above freezing temperatures. THat just shows y'all how cold it really has been around here. Gotta run off fur now....we gots to find a pressie fur Momma.

New Slide Show!

Effurycat liked the ofur slide show, so we maded anofur one!!! Momma sez that owr new "toy" is acshully a night light fur HER!! She gotted it at Kohl's and it werks kinda like the old lava lamps (whatefur those are). Anycat is welcome to come play wif it whenefur they want...but it werks better at night.

Mr. Squirell was't really that close to us....the flashy box just makes it look like that.

Heehee...I scareded Momma last night!!! She didn't know that I wuz on the bed when she wuz talkin' to Daddy on the phone thingy. I scareded her when I stepped on her boob!! It wuz pretty funny! ~Emmy....special purrs, nosekisses and headbutts to my sweet Victor!
